We aim to free time from the tyranny of physical reality.

• No daylight savings.
• No leap years (permanent 366-day year including February 29th).
• No leap seconds (UTC deprecated in favor of TAI).
• All Government agencies and facilities shall post operating hours in TAI.
• Local time is permitted as an offset from TAI; the offset must be a fixed integer number of hours, calculated by longitude and not by political boundary.
• Non-compliant states and municipalities shall be expelled from the Union.
• Non-compliant nations shall be sanctioned and/or annexed, depending on likelihood of military victory.

My administration will strengthen the Metric Conversion Act of 1975; metric will be the required system of weights and measures for United States trade and commerce, enforced as above.
